Black Diamond has put together some of the best day packs in recent years. The Nitro pack is hard to beat when it comes to a day pack that provides all day comfort and versatility. Black Diamond has created an amazing suspension system that is featured on this pack. The reACTIV suspension system allows for the pack to move with the body and keep you comfortable all day with this thing on your back. Rarely do you see a pack of this size with such a robust suspension system, which puts it in a league of its own.

The reACTIV suspension is an amazing system that Black Diamond has developed. Having a pack that moves with your body as you are on the trail makes the difference in covering more ground as you hike. No more hot spots because the shoulders move with the hip belt.  

The size and versatility of this day pack make a day on the trail comfortable and carrying all your necessities a breeze. With 20 Liters of capacity (1340 cu in) this pack allows you to carry everything you'd need for even a simple over night trip in summer conditions. One of the best features of this pack is the massive main compartment zipper that zips open to allow access to all your gear right in front of you. Some day packs have a smaller opening and can make it hard to get access to gear.

Cons:

- Pack is a little narrow, makes stashing larger items a little harder.

All in all this pack is awesome, and any use of it in the backcountry will make your trip that much better knowing you're able to carry everything you need and you're gonna be comfortable.
